LindsayS asked:

I have tried breathing in and out slowly when I feel one coming but it just doesn’t seem to work. When I am having one I sweat really bad, it seems like everyone around me gets louder, and the lights seem to get brighter. It is almost impossible to get over them. The major problem with this issue is that they happen only in school so I haven’t been going to school lately because I’m afraid of having one. I can’t see my docor until Thursday what do I do? I haven’t been at school since last week. I am getting really behind on my school work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get through a school day with these attacks?

remember it all in your head, you need to get out and beat this thing, don’t let it run your life. get mad at yourself when this happens and tell yourself this is not going to ruin your life. for treatment of it, cold rag behind your neck or peppermint candy, trust me, it works…..
