Panic attack is not Schizophrenia

Sometimes, when someone experience a panic attack the first time, he or she may even think they are going crazy Most people’s knowledge of mental diseases are really limited, so they tend to jump to conclusions which are actually not true.  These are usually based upon false information.

One of the most commonly diagnosed mental disorders is schizophrenia.

What is schizophrenia?

It is simply a psychological issue which makes it hard to know the difference between real and unreal experiences, to think logically, to have natural emotional reactions, and to act normally in social events.

Moreover, schizophrenia seems to be mainly a genetic disease. Schizophrenia usually starts quite slowly, and not out of the blue (like during panic and anxiety attacks). Furthermore, because it is a genetic disease, only a small number of people will become schizophrenic, and to most people, stress and anxiety  will not cause this disorder. Thirdly,  people who become schizophrenic typically have a few moderate symptoms during their entire lives. Schizophrenia also usually first appears when you are a teenager . Therefore, most likely, you won’t become schizophrenic. Panic attack is really not Schizophrenia.
